Ashtanga Yoga was originally brought to the western world by Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India, who had learnt the ancient practice from his own teacher Krishnamacharya. The practice is made up of a series of postures which over time combines an almost meditative approach that any person, no matter how young or old, new or experienced, can enjoy and benefit from.
