One of the unique aspects of this class is that the teacher will be guiding you through the practice step by step and posture by posture to develop your own personal practice gradually. It is basically like having a private one to one but in a group settings. As well as receiving the proper guidance you will also receive healing adjustments from the teacher that will create new space in the body to help you perform certain postures that are challenging to perform by yourself.
Ashtanga yoga is a powerful and dynamic form of yoga based on a series of body postures known as Asanas, combined with specific way of breathing known as Ujjay and nine points of mental focus known as Dirishtis that has the power to connect the mind, body and spirit and to make you feel whole again.
These asanas are performed in a specific order known as 'series' and in Ashtanga system we have six powerful series. With regular practice you will gain inner and outer strength and balance as well as tremendous amounts of flexibilities that will heal and transform you inside out.

Ashtanga Yoga means “Eight Limbed Yoga”. To practice Ashtanga Yoga properly is to observe and practice the entire eight limbs. These are moral and code of ethics (Yama & Nyamas), the postures (Asana), breath control (Pranayama), withdraw from the senses (Pratyahara), living in the presence of the divine energy (Dharna), the state of meditation (Dyana) and the experiences beyond the body and mind (Samadhi).
We aim to create a safe and loving space for you to practice and grow on the path feeling supported along the way.
